Water Lilies are the ideal pond plant

The average water garden is 8 feet wide, 2 feet deep, oval-shape, and contains plants and fish. The most popular plant for ponds is the water lily. Water lilies averages 22 inches in length from crown to pad. The minimum water depth required is 8 inches. The quantity of blooms and pads varies per plant, but on average there is 1-2 flowers and 5-7 lily pads.

Two Gallon Pots are recommended for all adult water lilies

We ship adult lilies, however we don't ship them in pots due to USDA Regulations. Water lilies must be planted in pots (for liner based ponds) or top soil (for dirt based ponds). We send planting instructions alongside your order in case you might have any questions.

Hardy Water Lilies

Yellow Lilies

White Lilies

Red Lilies

Pink Lilies
Hardy Water Lilies will survive over the winter in the USA. They bloom during the day while the suns out. If the lily pad is variegated it will be more shade tolerant. Most hardy lilies require a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight each day.

Tropical Water Lilies

Purple Lilies

Misc Lilies
Tropical Water Lilies will not survive the winter in the USA, in order for them to survive they need to be brought inside. Tropical lilies are larger lilies then any hardy variety, they also have more blooms and the blooms open up in the late afternoon. These plants will die if temperatures drop below 50 degrees.
