             Submerged pond plants also known as, oxygenators, are highly recommend for the beneficial qualities they provide to your water garden's ecological system. All of these varieties continuously supplement the water with oxygen which is essential for over-stocked fish ponds.
             The submerged plants, similar to floating plants, continuously absorb nitrates and phosphates in the water which are the leading nutrients that promote algae growth. Saves money on algae preventatives that you may have to add weekly all summer. They also provide great spawning media for your fish, frogs, and snails.

             We recommend that you purchase lead weights, 1 per plant, to help anchor the plant. Otherwise these plants tend to float until they start to grow in length.
